This is the general appearance
of the set as looking down from a stepladder. you will notice the white light
modifier to the right. This is actually a frame made from 3/4 inch electrical
conduit covered with rip stop nylon that has been attached with grommet snaps.
Total cost for this modifier is about $23.00. |
 |
The sheer white material is
used to separate the 2 sheeting materials and provide some depth to the
photograph. This material is sold in yardage shops for curtain lining, table
cover, lace inserts, etc. It comes in various colors and is very inexpensive.
Although the flower arrangement does not show in the sample photos, it does
provide some background depth when shot from a floor level advantage. |
 |
This photography shows the
location of the accent lights. The one on the left is used to highlight the
flowers and lace on the left rear of the scene. The center light highlights the
models hair and side (depending on the models position on the set). |
 |
Note the light in the upper
left corner of the photograph. This fill light is bounced off the ceiling to
fill in the shadows of the entire scene. It has the effect of making a broad
soft fill light over the scene. When the camera position is on a stepladder
over the set, this fill is directly behind the camera. |
